Sadly the Hilux is going up for sale. I built this truck to drive to the bottom of South America and it ended up being too small of a truck for the camper I put on the back. Without the camper the truck can easily drive at 60-70mph and averages 20-24mpg, its not the fastest truck out there but the turbo diesel puts out plenty of power to get it around and the low end torque is amazing off-road. The truck was a Toyota Pickup with a 22RE that had a Japanese 4cyl Turbo Diesel 2LTE and Toyota surf interior swapped into it. The truck runs perfectly and has had a lot of maintenance completed recently, the 2L engines are known to leak oil and this one does leak a little from the lower oil pan, just a drip or two when parked. The truck is legally registered in California and currently located in Denver, Colorado. Delivery to southern California is possible.
